The WMRHSD offers a comprehensive curriculum and delivers a high quality education that responds to the needs of more than 2,400 high school students and their families and is designed to prepare students for life after graduation. An independent survey by a national consulting firm ranked the district in the top 9% of the nation's schools in meeting parents' needs.

WMRHSD students excel in academics, athletics and the fine and performing arts and score above state national averages in standardized tests. These results are due in large measure to the strong involvement and support of the local community and the exemplary services, programs, resources and other opportunities offered to students.

To provide students with an intellectually challenging experience that promotes a passion for learning, academic excellence, involved citizenship and personal responsibility.

The WMRHSD was established in 1956 and initially served Mt. Olive Township in addition to Chester Borough, Chester Township, Mendham Borough, Mendham Township and Washington Township. In 1958, WMC was built. WMM was built in 1979. In 1977, Mt. Olive created its own K-12 district.
