Vision Statement:
Our vision for West Valley Christian Center is to become a real "community of communities". In fact, that's our motto. We seek to become a faith and cultural hub for the West San Fernando Valley, especially reaching young families and connecting the next generations with Jesus Christ.
History:
West Valley Christian Center has been a part of Los Angeles' San Fernando Valley for several decades. We have learned from our past, through our mistakes, our ups and downs, and we are presently embarking on a journey to become real "history makers" in our community. Our vision (above) clearly presents what we hope will become in the future, our history: A dynamic faith community (common-unity), that really strived to live Jesus in the neighborhoods, schools, and work places its members lived life at. A community that cared for families and the next generation of leaders. A community that was and is known for its graciousness, hospitality, love, and compassion. A community that truly met people where they were in life and patiently challenged them to a higher standard. A community that non-Christians recognized as being positive, welcoming, and impacting. And most of all, a community where the name of Jesus, his character, holiness, and mission was honored.
