Mission Statement

Westminster Church has a history of strong mission support. Several programs and educational events a year are provided for the church and community by missionaries and other national church workers. In recent years members of the church have traveled to Central America, and are involved in the presbytery's partnership with the community of La Concepcion, Nicaragua.

Westminster extends care in the local community through a monthly meal with low income people, a shoes program through the school nurse to insure that all students in our schools have adequate shoes, socks, caps, mittens, etc., and assistance to all in need of food, clothing, and emergency medical attention through the Clarinda Area Ministerial Alliance and the Community Center.
