Westtown Township stretches in a long rectangular shape for over five miles in a southwest-northeast direction. Westtown is located south of the Borough of West Chester, in eastern Chester County, PA, in an area experiencing intense growth pressure. Westtown's growth pressure derive from its physical attractiveness, access to major roads and reasonable commuting distance to growing employment centers along the Route 202 corridor, the I-476 Blue Route corridor and the Wilmington area. The eastern border of Westtown is approximately 16 miles west of the border of Philadelphia.
