Windthorst ISD students will be recognized as life-long learners who model a genuine compassion for life in community . . . family, church, workplace, and school. They will be viewed as individuals who have obtained the skill to think, analyze, apply, and evaluate information based on a broad foundation of knowledge that is enhanced through effective communication skills, technological proficiencies, and second language literacy. Such abilities will allow them to compete in an ever-changing job market that is founded in a multi-cultural society built on mutual respect, responsibility, and self-directed action.
Our vision statement reflects our commitment to each and every child. As board members, administrators, teachers, staff, parents, and community members we feel we must make every decision around this vision, "Because we have been called to serve ALL . . . not some!"
