About
The Rankin Promise Program is an alternative education program for students within the district who have demonstrated at-risk behaviors. The program features a full academic curriculum identical to courses used within our district's other schools. Students will receive instruction in the four core areas of English, Math, Science, and Social Studies. Students are also expected to participate in physical education and a social skills class. At the Elementary Level, students continue participation in physical education, art, music, and library classes. Students will have the opportunity to maintain a regular and steady progress towards graduation while, at the same time, receiving counseling and academic support that helps them identify their individual obstacles to success and then overcome them. The Wolverine/Rankin Promise Program enrolls regular education students and students with disabilities in grades 1 - 12. Credit recovery is available for students who are in need of credits toward graduation.
