We believe the concept that reflects God's nature, His original plan for human beings and His ultimate purpose for the church, is summarized in the word "community". God experiences community perfectly in the nature of His being. We believe the one true God exists as three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

Community is built on communication. God communicates with us in a unique way through the Bible, our authoritative guide in faith and practice, uniquely and divinely inspired.

God created human beings in His image and gave us the ability to voluntarily commune with Him. However, the perfect intimacy God planned was broken because of man's sin. The inevitable result is the ultimate destruction of community which the Bible calls hell. This means eternal separation from God.

The Holy Spirit convicts us of sin and indwells all who commit themselves to Christ. The Spirit empowers us to become more like Christ and confers on each follower a special giftedness which contributes to the life and mission of the new community, the church.

We believe that Jesus will one day return to earth, and establish the perfect community that was God's dream from the beginning.
