Woodsedge Tree Farm includes 75 acres of fields, forests, wetlands and streams in the scenic Skylands of central Warren County. Many species of wildlife abound on the farm. Our farm was permanently preserved by the NJ State Agricultural Development Committee and the Ridge & Valley Conservancy in 2006.
In 2004 Christmas tree planting began. We now have about 6 acres of trees in various stages of growth. 2014 marks our fith year for sales, we have about 500 trees available in the 6'-10' size range. We will have 3 fields open for "choose & cut" sales. We have "tree wheelers" available for you to bring your tree back to the barn or we can ferry it for you with our utility vehicle.
Tree species that we have for 2013 include Douglas Fir, Norway Spruce, White Pine, Fraser Fir, Canaan Fir, Colorado Blue Spruce and several other species.
On our farm we also raise honey bees that produce all natural honey. We have honey and beeswax soap available in the Christmas Barn.
We again will have some handmade wooden crafts all made from trees from our farm. Choose from birdhouses, turned wooden ornaments and wooden bowls.
