We are getting excited about the coming year and also getting ready for the growing season. Due to the continued interest we are having in the CSA program we are still taking application for more members. Remember to sign up soon and have your last payment in by the end of April. For contract please email us. We will send you out a contract the day after we get your request. This year we will be expanding what we have to offer and our CSA members will have some wonderful benefits like, When you get your box and use up ie...all your lettuce, you will get 50% off more (lettuce) when it is picked up here at the farm. Only applies to produce items that were offered in your box for that week.
We offer a large selection of produce for our CSA's (please see Local Harvest produce list for our farm listing. A list of our produce that we supply will be included along with your CSA contract. All our produce is organically grown. The only item on the farm that is not organically grown is fresh flowers. We sometimes resort to chemical fertilizes to help in the bloom process. Very seldom do we do that but we want people to know what they are getting.
Along with our produce you will get from time to time as a surprise of fresh eggs (as available) homemade bread, jams, fresh and dried herbs, fresh flowers, strawberries, raspberries, and many other items. If and when we do have berries etc they will be offered to the CSA's first and then to the general public. Just another way to take good care of our CSA's From time to time we will be offering other items, such as fruit) from other providers as we are able to obtain them.
Our CSA's will also get 10% off any classes offered (list and times to follow). CSA's also get 10% off any purchases made though our farm store. Each box will vary in content and pounds. This year we will weight each item and keep records so the following year you will know in pounds what you will be getting. We will make sure you are well taken care of. Remember that in May you will not get as much as in July or August. Again. we will make sure you get a good supply of freshly picked organically raised produce.
