Word Alive Church exists to RESCUE the lost, to INFLUENCE people to christ and to TRANSFORM lives with His love.

Word Alive began as an affiliate of Independent Assemblies of God on March 1, 1981. Pastor Cliff Reynolds is also affiliated with Righteous Preacher's Network, through Dr. Mark Barclay's ministry.

We began meeting Sunday mornings and evenings at the Wayne Township Fire Hall with approximately 50 people in a primarily charismatic or pentecostal style of worship. After 20 months, the church relocated to the R.W. Shambach Building on Woodside Ave. where we remained until the purchase of the building on 800 Crescent Ave. on May, 31, 1985.

During the last 20 years, Word Alive has continued to grow. We have expanded and purchased approximately 10 acres of land in Franklin Township just a few minutes from downtown Ellwood City. The new church has been completed and the first service was held, November 14th, 2004. March of 2006 marks 25 years of ministry for Pastor Cliff and Lindal
