Wyomissing Hills Elementary Center is a school where we endeavor to do what is best for children. This child-centered approach helps us to create an environment where everyone is valuable, special, and important. Your child’s education and safety is accomplished through a variety of programs that are differentiated to meet individual needs and a proactive management plan that helps to foster respect and well-being. The goal of this learning journey is to help all children be successful and self-motivated learners.
Parent volunteers are the core of our school success. We welcome your participation in the many wonderful activities that occur during the course of the school year. We value your ideas and recommendations, because your involvement positively impacts the learning of all children at Wyomissing Hills.
Communication from school to home is begun with our Meet the Teacher days that are held every September. Open House in October is an exciting event for everyone! Parent/Teacher Conferences in November are another valuable form of communication. To support these meetings, teachers create classroom newsletters/memos that inform parents about weekly events in the classroom. We create and distribute a Hills Newsletter every two months. This newsletter contains information about important events.
