Be part of the Yellow River Festival celebrating Marshall County (IN) history, encompassing the years 1840 through the 1940s. Experience period music and dancing, storytelling, Indian dances, and demonstrations - something for everyone! Families of all ages will enjoy period reenactments, traditional food, rustic crafts and cultural activities with a focus on our wonderful history.
A major part of the festival is a focus on the Yellow River itself and the environment around it. We want to help our community better understand the ecological significance of the river and its relationship to Marshall County history and the larger geographic region the delicious food and creative crafts at the festival reflect the historical period are sold by not-for-profit groups as fundraisers.
