YMCA MINI KIDS CAMP – No two days are alike at this special summer camp especially designed for our very youngest campers, kids ages 4-5. We provide an enjoyable recreational and educational summer camp experience onsite at the Pequannock Elementary School enjoy story time, art, water play, music, science, nature, creative play, active games, sports and a balance of individual and group activities are specifically geared to their age group. There are weekly themes, special days and tons of fun.  

Camp hours are 9:00 – 1:00 or 9:00 to 5:00 (pre & post camp available)

Prices range from $260 to $320 per week.

YMCA DISCOVERY CAMP  - Our camp program offers children ages 6 -12 days filled with a variety of activities including sports & games, swim lessons, water play, art & crafts, music & drama, hands on science & nature programs and much, much more. This camp is held on the grounds of the Pequannock Elementary School and these campers are taken off campus twice weekly for YMCA swim lessons. Camp hours are 9:00 – 5:00.     Pre camp and post camp programs are also available.

Prices range from $240 to $320 per week

We also have 3 new half-day specialty camps this year:

Legomaniac –kids ages 6 and up the chance to explore the arts and sciences through a variety of Lego-based activities. Activities include building a special large scale Lego project, creative design projects, speed building competitions, games like Creationary and Lego Jeopardy. In addition to these activities at the end of the week each child will go home with a completed Lego portfolio and a special Lego gift.

Cakekids – Do you have a future pastry chef or baker in your family? This camp will give kids ages 8 and up the chance to explore the cake decorating world. Kids will learn to decorate cookies, cupcakes, minicakes and as a grand finale a large group cake. All individual creations can be taken home and the end of the week each child will go home with a completed cake portfolio.

Cartooning Camp – Let the world of cartooning come alive in art. Kids ages 8 and up will learn to draw cartoon animals and people using simple shapes and easy techniques. Working in charcoal, colored pencil and ink your child will create wonderful works of art. At the end of the week each child will go home with a completed cartoon portfolio
These camps offer kids the opportunity to do more of what they what they love. These camps can be stand alone or in conjunction with a ½ day at Discovery Camp.
