Yorktown Elementary School contains grades three, four, and five.

Yes has an experienced teaching faculty and staff and each provide excellent opportunities for students to have a positive learning experience. Performance reports show that our school has consistently met or exceeded the standards in the Performance Based Accreditation set forth by the Indiana Department of Education.

Yorktown Elementary is a full service school. Physical education, art, music, computer science, and counseling services are available to all students. Special education and a gifted and talented program are available to students that qualify.

The Mt. Pleasant Twp. Parent Teacher Organization is a very active parent support group. They provide volunteer services, funds, and educational opportunities to our students.

Students are the top priority at Yorktown Elementary School. They are provided a learning atmosphere that encourages positive mental, physical, and social growth. Our desire is that students become lifelong learners, productive citizens, and individuals who strive toward excellence in their lives.
