Mission Statement:

Youth Ballet was founded in 1991 by Beth Bench-Hartle and Barbara Spaulding. Our mission is based upon an educational philosophy that promotes respect for, and direct involvement in, the creative process. By incorporating original choreography, the Company aspires to inspire members of our community to embrace the arts as an accessible and vibrant part of their everyday lives.

The Company engages in performance and arts education activities that introduce this philosophy to an ever-broadening audience of participants and attendees. The Youth Ballet Company is open, by audition, to all area dancers under the age of eighteen. Dance Eclectic is the professional division of the company and gives local dancers over the age of eighteen performing and choreographing opportunities.
