Mission :
Our statement of mission vision for Zebulon Baptist Church is to equip, train, and utilize the total church membership in ministry, providing for the spiritual, educational, and material needs of people in both our community and other locations. This should be undertaken with the goal of developing these persons as believers and as members of the church and discipling them to be servants, so that they in turn may minister to others through the same process. These missions should be developed in new and creative ways on both a local and global missions level and should utilize available structures, such as Sunday School and cooperative partnerships, as a means to achieve these goals.

Core Values :
We value the tradition of Christ centered worship based on the life of Jesus, the Christian calendar, Christian symbols, the message of the scriptures, and congregational participation in the worship of the church.
- We value the traditional ordinances of believer's baptism and the Lord's Supper.
- We value the traditional Christian beliefs set forth in the affirmations of the Apostles' Creed.
- We value the traditional Baptist beliefs set forth in the affirmations of faith in the 1963 Baptist Faith and Message and the 1995 Mission Statement of the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship.
- We value the study and preaching of the Bible for Christian faith and life, freely interpreted by Christians led by the Holy Spirit within the community of faith.
