Welcome to Zoar Baptist Church.  The word Zoar is from the Hebrew language and means “small.”  Our church is not exactly a small group, but our goal is to create a small group atmosphere where everyone feels genuinely cared for.  In the ancient Eastern world there was a city named Zoar where, according to the Bible, one family found refuge when they needed it most.  Our goal is to be like that city.  We hope that people find a safe place here.
