Get ready to run under the midnight sun at the Fairbanks Daily News-Miner Midnight Sun Run Kick-Off Party, Friday, June 5 from 4:00 pm to 7 pm at Beaver Sports, 3840 College Road. Register for the 10K run and sign up early for the costume contest. Fairbanks Resource Agency’s Spud Buggy will be serving baked potatoes with fixings. Bring your old running clothes to donate to Closet Collections and get a receipt with a Value Village coupon-just in time to shop for this year’s fun run costume! Drawings for door prizes throughout the afternoon! Coloring Contest for children in three categories: 4 and under, 5-7 years old and 8-10 years old.
