Germantown Academy is located right off Bethlehem Pike at the corner of Lafayette Avenue and Morris Road. The campus can be accessed easily from Route 309, the PA Turnpike and Skippack Pike (Route 73). GA is a PreK through 12th grade, nonsectarian, coed college preparatory school with more than 1,000 students and 250 faculty and staff. GA is the oldest, continuously-operated school of its kind in the nation, dating back to its original campus opening in 1759 in Germantown. The school moved to Fort Washington in the early 1960s and marked its 250th anniversary in 2009-10.
