Like Mac 'n Cheese? Bring the family to Foodnet Meals on Wheels famous Mac 'n Cheese Bowl, March 21, 11:30 am to 2:30 pm, Ithaca High School Cafeteria. Taste mac 'n cheese from 20 area restaurants and vote for the best Mac 'n Cheese in Town.

The "bowl," which benefits elderly people and individuals with disabilities who cannot cook or shop for their own meals, is back for the second year with new twists for mac 'n cheese lovers of all ages. 

There are some new elements this year Stefan Senders, co-founder of Wide Awake Bakery, will be on hand to give an educational presentation on the art and science of pasta. In addition, this year's awards will feature a new Kid's Choice Award. Kids, 5-12, may vote for their favorite mac 'n cheese. Awards will be given for the best vegetarian mac 'n cheese and the best meat/fish/poultry mac 'n cheese. 

In the KidZ Korner children will be encouraged to create postcards to be delivered to Foodnet clients with their meals. Clients get a real boost from thoughtful extras that show the community cares about them.
