FOLKFEST is an annual “Family Heritage Festival” sponsored by the Museum of Texas Handmade Furniture, 1370 Church Hill Dr., New Braunfels, TX. This year's event will be held April 11 and 12, 2015. FOLKFEST features living history re-enactments, pioneer craft demonstrations, free furniture museum tours, children’s activities, musical entertainment and delicious food. A complete schedule of activities will posted the week of the event. All proceeds benefit the museum and its historic preservation projects. The historic Kindermasken Parade dating back to the founding of New Braunfels is held in conjunction with this event. This children’s costumed walking parade is open to all participants.
