Dr. Coromilas graduated cum laude from Columbia College, Columbia University and earned her medical degree from Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons, where she was inducted into Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) Honor Medical Society and The Gold Humanism Honor Society (GHHS). She completed her Internal Medicine residency at Massachusetts General Hospital, followed by Dermatology residency at Columbia University/New York Presbyterian Hospital. She is board certified in Internal Medicine and Dermatology.
After completion of her Internal Medicine and Dermatology training, Dr. Coromilas completed the Complex Medical Dermatology Fellowship at University of Pennsylvania under the mentorship of Dr. Misha Rosenbach. She specializes in providing care for patients with complex medical dermatologic conditions such as granulomatous skin conditions, hidradenitis suppurativa, cutaneous complications of inflammatory bowel disease, pyoderma gangrenosum, and autoimmune conditions of the skin such as lupus, dermatomyositis, and autoimmune blistering disorders. She has an interest in caring for patients with cutaneous adverse effects of oncologic therapy including immune related adverse events due to immune checkpoint inhibitors.
Dr. Coromilas is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD), as well as a member of the Medical Dermatology Society, Society of Dermatology Hospitalists, and Women's Dermatologic Society (WDS). She has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications and has spoken at local and national dermatology conferences
