Amanda Monocello, LPC, CCTP, is a behavioral health clinician with AHN Behavioral Health, specializing in perinatal and postpartum mood/anxiety disorders. Her clinical interests include depression, anxiety disorders, trauma related symptoms and disorders, bipolar disorder, interpersonal challenges, and behavioral activation.
She received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Penn State Behrend in Erie, Pennsylvania and her Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling from Walden University in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
She is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional with additional training in interpersonal and social rhythm therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, and eye movement desensitization reprocessing. She works from a collaborative, strength-based framework to build on the patient’s current strengths and successes to break through barriers. She sees patients of all ages, with a focus on pregnant or postpartum patients, at Saint Vincent Hospital.
