Dr. Sanders graduated from Utah State University with a bachelor's Degree in Public Health. He then attended and graduated from the University of Utah School of Medicine. During medical school, he decided to pursue training in Family Medicine because of his interest in caring for various medical conditions at various stages of a person's life. He finished a 3-year residency training program at the Utah Valley Family Medicine Residency in 2014 and decided to practice medicine in Ketchikan, Alaska. He made Alaska his home for eight years and cared primarily for adults with complex, acute, and chronic conditions. He strives to educate patients regarding their concerns, so they are empowered to make important decisions about their health.
In his free time, he loves spending time with his family and doing anything he can that involves being outdoors.
