Anna Serels, MD, is a board-certified physiatrist, specializing in physical medicine & rehabilitation. As a physiatrist, her focus is to help people who are having trouble functioning in their day-to-day life, usually due to a problem in nerves, muscles or bones. While her interests lie in neurorehabilitation (stroke, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, etc.), she sees a great variety of patients, especially those with pain. She does in-office procedures including injections, EMG/NCS, and spasticity management. She incorporates a collaborative multidisciplinary approach with colleagues in primary care, orthopedics, neurology, rheumatology, neurosurgery, physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy.
