Originally from Pittsburgh, PA, Dr. Skok grew up in Valparaiso, IN. He completed his undergraduate studies at Indiana University-Bloomington and medical school at Midwestern University-Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine. He recently completed his residency in family medicine at The Ohio State University, Wexner Medical Center, in Columbus, OH. During his third year of residency at OSU, he served as the Academic Chief Resident of the program.
Given an interest in population health and health policy, he has also received his masters in public health degree through The Ohio State University, College of Public Health. As part of this program, he completed a project with the Ohio State University Extension system studying vaccination hesitancy in rural, Appalachian Ohio.
His clinical interests include inpatient medicine, pediatrics, complex adult pathology and office-based procedures/contraceptive care. He is also passionate about medical education, healthcare leadership and underserved care.
Outside of medicine, he enjoys camping/hiking, running, Orangetheory, live music, and spending time with his wife, Stacy.
