Daniel Ramon, M.D., is a family medicine-trained primary care physician at Baptist Health, providing comprehensive primary care in adult medicine, pediatrics, geriatrics, gynecology and sports medicine. He is fluent in English and Spanish.
Before joining Baptist Health in 2023, Dr. Ramon completed his family medicine residency at the Baptist Health/Florida International University program, serving as chief resident for one year. He earned his medical degree from the University of South Florida.
Dedicated to speaking to patients in their native language, Dr. Ramon spearheaded the Spanish Enrichment Clinics during medical school. In the clinics he taught his classmates medical terminology and other skills to help foster more effective physician-patient relationships.
Dr. Ramon collaborates with his patients by considering all their concerns when providing medical treatment plans. He helps educate patients by explaining complex topics in simple terms so they can make informed decisions about their health.
Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family by playing baseball, going to the beach and boating. He also enjoys reading, playing classical music on the piano and traveling.
