Emily VanUytven, FNP, is a board-certified family medicine nurse practitioner who sees children from birth and adult patients. Emily provides preventative care, such as annual physical exams, vaccinations, well-woman visits, department of transportation assessments and managing acute and chronic illnesses. She treats a wide range of conditions, including asthma, diabetes, high blood pressure, minor injuries, cold and flu symptoms and sprains and strains.
Emily places a high importance on building relationships with patients and families in order to gain a deeper understanding of their needs. She goes above and beyond to provide exceptional care, educate patients, and advocate for them, all with the aim of helping them achieve their health care goals.
Emily has lived in the St. Louis area since 2017. She enjoys running, horseback riding, quilting, and spending time with her husband and their dogs.
She completed her bachelor of science in nursing at Southern Illinois University in Edwardsville, Illinois, and her master of science in nursing and family practice medicine at Simmons University in Boston, Massachusetts.
