Kishi Patel, DO, is a family medicine and sports medicine physician at NewYork-Presbyterian Queens Medical Group. Dr. Patel is certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and has expertise in nonoperative orthopedics, sports-related injuries, and sports concussion.
Dr. Patel received her medical degree from New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed her family medicine residency at Penn Highlands Healthcare in DuBois, PA, and her Sports Medicine Fellowship at Rochester Regional Health in Rochester, NY. Dr. Patel completed her bachelor's in science at Seton Hall University in South Orange, New Jersey.
Dr. Patel has served as the team physician for various schools, including the Rochester Institute of Technology, Henrietta High School, and DuBois Area High School. Dr. Patel has served as the on-site physician for college sports events played by teams from Princeton University, the Rochester Institute of Technology, and Ithaca College, among others. Her past research has covered areas such as fall prevention and reducing hospital readmission. Dr. Patel is a Fellow Member of the American Osteopathic Association, the American College of Osteopathic Family Medicine, the American Board of Family Medicine, the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine, and the American Osteopathic Academy of Sports Medicine.
