Leigh Ball, MD, is a board-certified Internal Medicine physician with a sub-specialty and board-certified in sleep medicine. She earned her medical degree from Quillen College of Medicine at East Tennessee State University. She then went on to complete her internship and residency at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, TN. Dr. Ball also completed a fellowship in Sleep Medicine at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, MO. Patients can visit Dr. Ball for all general medicine needs, such as annual wellness exams, vaccinations, screenings, and more. She also helps her patients manage primary health care concerns, such as high blood pressure, diabetes, heart conditions, migraines, asthma, COPD. Dr. Ball treats common illnesses and injuries, including, but not limited to cough, cold and flu symptoms, muscle strains and sprains, rashes and earaches. In her Sleep Medicine practice, Dr. Ball treats disorders such as obstructive sleep apnea, restless leg syndrome and narcolepsy. She understands how poor sleep can impact one’s quality of life and she enjoys watching her patients improve as a result of her treatments.
