Lisa James, AGNP, is a board-certified adult gerontology nurse practitioner who sees patients 13 years and above. She is a certified diabetes care and education specialist who treats diabetes and other endocrine conditions. She provides diabetes and endocrine care and education to her patients, including continuous glucose monitoring and insulin pump therapy.
Lisa is a dedicated healthcare professional who believes in providing comprehensive care to her patients. Her care philosophy centers on educating patients about their health conditions and empowering them to take an active role in their treatment. Lisa is committed to helping her patients lead healthy and fulfilling lives by encouraging them to practice healthy lifestyle habits and regularly monitor their health.
Outside of work, she enjoys music, traveling, biking, walking and spending time with her family.
Lisa earned her Master of Science in Nursing degree from McKendree University in Lebanon, Illinois, and her post-master’s certificate in the Adult Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner program at Maryville University in St. Louis, Missouri.
