A native of Shreveport, Louisiana, Michael V. Do, M.D. received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Boston University in Massachusetts. He attended medical school at the Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in Shreveport, where he graduated in 2007. Following medical school, he completed his general surgery residency at the Oschner Clinic Foundation in New Orleans, Louisiana. He then went on to continue his surgical training with a two-year fellowship in vascular surgery at the University of Tennessee Health Sciences Center in Memphis.
Dr. Do is board certified in general surgery and vascular surgery. He has a special interest in complex endovascular aortic surgery, advanced hybrid endovascular and open peripheral arterial intervention, and carotid artery disease. He is a member of the American College of Surgeons, the Society for Vascular Surgery, Southern Association for Vascular Surgery, Medical Association of the State of Alabama, and the Medical Society of Mobile County.
