Richard Morgan, D.O., is a nonsurgical spine care physician at Baptist Health Miami Neuroscience Institute, specializing in physical medicine and rehabilitation.
Dr. Morgan earned his osteopathic medicine degree from Nova Southeastern University and completed his physical medicine and rehabilitation residency at Larkin Community Hospital in Miami.
As a physiatrist, Dr. Morgan focuses on providing rehabilitation treatment plans that help patients regain function and mobility. His clinical and research interests include diagnostic and interventional neuromuscular ultrasound, spasticity management and regenerative medicine.
Dr. Morgan’s research has been published in medical journals, such as the Journal of Brachial Plexus and Peripheral Nerve Injury. He has also presented extensively at national medical meetings and is a member of American Osteopathic College of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Association of Academic Physiatrists and North American Spine Society.
Listening is at the core of Dr. Morgan’s care philosophy. He is receptive to the concerns and expectations of his patients and works to ensure that those concerns are addressed during each visit. He believes that establishing a collaborative relationship is key to achieving the best possible outcomes for his patients.
In his spare time, Dr. Morgan enjoys traveling to new places, cooking, kayaking, playing and watching football, finding new walking trails and discovering new restaurants.
