Family Partners of Morris & Sussex Counties, a Family Support Organization, is a private, non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization funded by the New Jersey Children's System of Care. Our mission is to facilitate the empowerment of parents and caregivers of children with emotional, behavioral, mental health, developmental, intellectual, substance abuse or juvenile justice challenges through a community-based, family-centered, culturally competent system of support, education and advocacy. All Family Support Organization services are free and open to the public. 

Family Support Partners are parents and caregivers of children with emotional, behavioral, mental health, developmental, intellectual, substance abuse or juvenile justice challenges. We provide intensive, individual support to families and help them advocate for their children on behalf of the needs of the family. We assist families during critical situations such as a hospitalization, entering a residential facility, appearing in court, and attending school meetings and child-family team meetings. We engage families in the community, helping them to identify their strengths and build on those strengths to address their needs and goals. We offer peer-to-peer parent, grandparent, and caregiver support and networking groups, as well as a youth partnership/peer-support group in both Morris County and Sussex County. Our Family Service Organization hosts a variety of free educational workshops throughout the year which focus on areas of interest for both parents and professionals and include topics such as Basic Rights in Special Education, PTSD in Children, and Managing Difficult Behaviors in Children. These free workshops are offered in Morris and Sussex Counties.

Our "Warm Line" (973-940-3194) is available Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. to provide support, information and referrals to parents and caretakers experiencing difficulties with their children. Feel free to call us for any additional information about our services and programs!
