Schedule of Events

6:00 a.m. Market Hogs and Breeding Swine may arrive (4-H Building). All swine must be in barn by 1:00 p.m.

7:00 a.m. Poultry barn will be open.

8:00 a.m.
Judge Broilers
Broiler Championship judging and ribbon assignment will take place 1 hour after initial judging ends.
Top 5 Poultry Premier Exhibitors will be awarded (Broilers will be released after completion of championship judging.)

8:00 am
Judge Miniature Cattle in Main Arena (Zebu Influence followed by AOB Miniature, Miniature Hereford, Miniature showmanship)
Miniature Cattle released 30 minutes after conclusion of show

8:00 am - 12:00 p.m. Check in beef entries and pay entry fees (Vender room)

8:00 am - 12:00 p.m. Sign up LCA / LCES Beef showmanship (Vendor room)

9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Sign up for LPPA/LCES Swine Showmanship (4-H Building)

9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Check-in swine entries (4-H Building)

9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. Scales open for weighing Market Hogs

11:00 am - 1:00 pm Weigh & classify Commercial Heifers (back arena)

12:00 p.m. All beef cattle must be in place (barns 2-6 as assigned)

12:00 p.m. - 3:30 p.m. All Market Hogs showing in Breed Divisions (Hampshire, Duroc, Yorkshire, and AOB) must be classified in the makeup arena.

1:00 p.m. All Swine must be in the barn and checked in

1:00 p.m. - 2:30 p.m. Weigh-in for Commercial Gilts

2:00 pm LCA / LCES Beef Showmanship in Main Arena / Back Arena

3:00 p.m. Premier Swine Exhibitor Exam

4:00 p.m. Judge Breeding Swine followed by Commercial Gilts followed by Supreme Champion Breeding Swine (Breeding Swine and Commercial Gilts may be released at the conclusion of the Breeding Swine Show)

5:30 p.m. Deadline for turning Market Hog weigh cards

7:00 p.m. Poultry Barn will be closed and locked
