Celebrating Winter on the Northern Plains
Vinterfest is a month-long celebration of winter, here on the Northern Plains. The festival seeks to promote educational, recreational, and cultural heritage programming throughout central North Dakota for the public’s enjoyment. From artisan workshops to cross-country skiing, Vinterfest invites you to learn new hobbies and share in time-honored traditions.

We will have stations throughout the Heritage Center that will allow people to try various winter crafts like rosemaling, paper cutting, gnome making, beading.
All ages welcome.

Fantasy Mapmaking for Teens

6th-12th graders are welcome to join Strawberry Soda-Pop Studios and delve into the art of fantasy map making. In this interactive art program, aspiring cartographers and adventure enthusiasts will learn how to use common household items and craft supplies to create fantastical realms. Whether teens want to bring an imagined world to life, create a map for their next Dungeons & Dragons campaign, or create a cool piece of wall art, this program is for them.
Teens only.
