Celebrating Winter on the Northern Plains

Vinterfest is a month-long celebration of winter, here on the Northern Plains. The festival seeks to promote educational, recreational, and cultural heritage programming throughout central North Dakota for the public’s enjoyment. From artisan workshops to cross-country skiing, Vinterfest invites you to learn new hobbies and share in time-honored traditions.

Zine Scene: DIY Publishing for Teens

Storytelling can take many forms, from digital content to print newspapers to zines, handmade magazines about any topic you can imagine.

6th-12th graders are welcome to stop by Teen HQ with an idea for a story or a topic they would like to share with others and learn how to turn it into a zine! This workshop is for all teens. No zine making experience is required. Let your imagination lead the way!
