The Dodge City Globe once again presents the long-awaited and anticipated Medallion Hunt. The hunt begins when the first clue appears in the Dodge City Globe on Tuesday, July 25th then daily on dodgeglobe.com and in the Dodge City Globe on its publishing days of Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. Interpret the clues, find the medallion, and turn it in for a $500.00 cash reward. Clues will also be available at the Dodge City Globe office and posted on the front door. This year's Parade Marshals are Bill Hawley and Merle Kaufman. Both gentlemen have been active members of AMBUCS for the last 40 years. The Western Cattle trail started in South Texas and crossed the plains to Canada. Dodge City was the first rail head to sell cattle from Texas and for the Cowboys to have some fun on the trail North.
