The Frederick Arts Council announces the current exhibition Ephemeral/Enduring at the FAC Art Center at 5 E 2nd St, on display March - July 2024. Ephemeral / Enduring explores the concept of time through diverse artistic expressions. Artists interpret and represent the theme in their own unique ways, whether through visual, conceptual, or experimental approaches. The work featured in this exhibition expresses the concept of time through excellent use of  color, texture and dimension. Artworks range from the abstract and philosophical to the personal histories of the artists and everywhere in between. Ephemeral//Enduring is a juried group show curated by Professor of Art at Frederick Community College, Wendell Poindexter.

The multimedia show features work by Julie Maynard, Juliet Hossain, Sydney Slagle, Elisabeth Arzt, Richard Christin Jr., Jill McCarthy Stauffer,  Ellen Olson Schippert, Richard Weiblinger, Kristie Taylor, Beamie Young, Karin Birch, Janet Seifert, Craig Cavin, Vicki Clarkson, Mary Gasnick Reis, Bonny Lundy, Patricia Dobbin, Sharon Fishel, Genie Ghim, Jeffrey Bohlander, Anna Martin, Susan O'Connor, S. Manya Stoumen-Tolino, Kim Klabe, James Connors, Jula Yanna, Priya Vadhyar, Hannah Longbottom Estrada.
