The Arts are vital to the quality of life that all of us enjoy in Frederick County. Whether you’re engaged in the arts as an audience member, patron, educator, or artist, the Frederick Arts Council (FAC) is your arts ally. Our purpose is to foster an environment where the arts may flourish in our community through grants and scholarships, arts advocacy, and links to essential resources.
The Frederick Arts Council serves as the umbrella arts organization for Frederick County, Maryland. We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that builds a better community through arts programs, services, activities, and events.
The Frederick Arts Council does not discriminate against any person on the basis of any characteristic described in Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act or on the basis of political opinion or affiliation in any of its policies, procedures or practices and prides itself on maintaining a facility that is accessible to all. From time to time, FAC may host programs such as workshops and lectures off site and will consider reasonable requests for accommodations if submitted to our offices two weeks in advance of this program or activity.
Our Vision:
Our vision for the Cultural Arts Center of Frederick County is to be an attractive, exciting arts venue for the county - a place where actors, dancers, musicians and artists of every discipline can affordably work, rehearse, perform, teach classes and conduct workshops.
