From: Sourland Mountain FestivalFor the Love of the Sourlands!
Ringoes, NJ – The Sourland Mountain Festival is set for Saturday, July 13th, rain or shine, from 3-8:30 p.m. Environmentally conscious non-profits, businesses and educational exhibitors will be on hand for attendees to learn from and enjoy with information and activities on the history and ecology of the Sourland region. The Unionville Vineyard serves as the perfect backdrop to learn about the significance of the Sourlands to Central New Jersey.
There will be activities for all ages from educators like the Raritan Headwaters Association and Northeast Organic Farming Association (NOFA). ReMax Realtors will be on hand with their trademark balloon, inflated on the grounds for attendees young and old to walk through. Be sure to get a photo in the balloon basket which will be made accessible for all ages and abilities to enter! Tabby’s Place, the Ringoes, NJ storied cat rescue sanctuary, will be on hand with information and taking donations for their rescues in need. Sourland resident and mushroom king, Jeff Mertz of Wildspawn Mushrooms will be providing an in-depth talk on safe foraging and identification of mushrooms as well sharing recipes and mushrooms for purchase!
The Sourland Mountain Festival is presented by the award-winning Unionville Vineyards, located in the heart of the Sourlands in East Amwell Township, and features a 5-star VIP dining experience by the premiere Ryland Inn as well as refreshing craft brews from Flemington’s premier Lone Eagle Brewery. and is made possible by the generous support of business partners and sponsors who share in the vision of Supporting the Sourlands!
